Aahh and then I had a few questions about my own commissions, which I'm hoping to open after I finish the current to-do list I have now. I was wondering if anyone would be interested in this style of chibi commission? Single-character painted, but with a transparent or simple/pattern background for probably $12-$15 or requivalently, 960-1200 points (?).
Too expensive?? q_q;; I can also livestream the colouring provided I don't become terrified of streaming LOLOLL Eek thank you for your input!!
One last thing. LOL, I don't know if I should make polls for my questions but :'| HAHAHA
If a commissioner deliberately scammed you, would it be unreasonable
to publically blacklist their username + partial Paypal email?
I mean "deliberately" as in, for instance, they use PP's terms of service again you after receiving the commission, and in communication are uncooperative and/or hostile. I don't mean like, impolite or anything, like... of course, I/other artists would want to work with the commissioner with the best understanding possible, but there are certain things that clearly must be done with a malicious intent, unless they can excuse themselves through communication. I really don't want to do anything like this and I'm sure others wouldn't either but I suppose it is a bit like protecting the community. You can easily change both the PP address and the username, but it would still be a step. Maybe? Would listing also the partial or full IRL name (as listed on Paypal) be too much? But then I think usually scammers hit a bunch of artists and run anyway so I'm not sure how helpful this would be q-q;
Unless, does anyone have an idea how to protect against Paypal's ridiculous terms? It pretty much offers no protection for the seller, and this comes from someone who also somewhat deals with the sale of physical goods with PP (which has very poor protection as well - the amount of lost money to scammers is unbelievably frustrating). I'd rather take points-only if I can't guarantee the transaction's honesty, because I don't spend commission money until after I've finished in case I need to refund (and it's just weird since it's like money you haven't earned yet), but USD is always more convenient. Except for Paypal issues haha;;;
edit edit: I meant people who commission you, I don't know if that's called a commissioner or a commissionee? q_q;; SORRY LOL ;O ;
