my feminine side is beautifulHow do you happen to shade your pixel icons? I'm slowly teaching myself how to do them because all icon commissioners seem to have died LOL //hit.

um hnnn that's actually... an interesting question O A O hmm... y-yes AHHAHA i think it's mostly because icons take so much time and they aren't really worth it to take commissions ;A; or maybe it's just me? most people i've talked with take like 1-2hrs per icon but for some reason it takes me like 4-5 hrs HAHAHA. and wahh about shading! i... shade it with a pixel brush? hhnn i'm honestly not sure how to answer because i just... shade like i do regularly, except on a very small scale and using a pixel brush (important - i know some people like to use just a small size regular brush so it's smooth, but i don't find that gives you enough control at all and imo it looks blurrier than if you pixel it... but that's my opinion wahh). i guess something important with shading w/ icons is just make sure you're actually shading, it's incredibly easy to (inadvertently) pillow shade ahhaa!
